At Paris Motorshow Lotus became the first brand in automotive history to launch an entire new family of vehicles simultaneously. Our brief was to create a new CI and backdrop to tell the story of Lotus future plans, whilst also drawing on its rich heritage. Almost 50 pieces of bespoke joinery were designed for the show, including bars, display plinths and benches. Four 5.5m high LED walls form the centrepiece of the stand. A striking white corian stair leads up to the VIP area, where the future dealership concept model is displayed. Three offices each feature iconic imagery of Lotus past. On the 30th of September the dawn of a new era at Lotus Cars was launched in a starstudded press show, with Naomi Campbell, Mickey Rourke, Brian May and Stephen Baldwin unveiling the new vehicles.
